Description Michael Gilbert 2008-02-24 01:06:04 UTC
epiphany-webkit currently does not render the flash components of
websites.

this is a request for either flash or gnash support (or both) to be
implemented in epiphany-webkit.

this is debian bug #467241 (http://bugs.debian.org/467241).
Comment 1 Mike Hommey 2008-02-24 08:20:58 UTC
This is not an epiphany issue, but a webkit one.
Comment 2 Reinout van Schouwen 2008-02-24 15:26:14 UTC
Marking NOTGNOME per comment #1. Thanks!

Somebody that has some links to the work thats being done to get gnash and epiphany working. I installed epiphany-webkit and gnash but it's not working. I am trying to get audio working when using an bluetooth speaker system and watching and listing to flash media.

(ps spelling and grammar correction does not seem to work with epiphany-webkit under debian sid)
Comment 4 Michael Gilbert 2008-10-20 02:31:37 UTC
fthe gnash package in debian (sid and otherwise) only installs the standalone gnash player. it does not install the web plugin. you need to install the mozilla-plugin-gnash package to get the plugin.

a bug about the spelling/grammer feature when using the webkit back end has already been submitted. see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/532510.
