GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 462031
Un-check "Mark as away" and you're still away
Last modified: 2007-10-17 13:33:06 UTC
I had checked "Mark as away" and "Apply on all servers". It marked me away just fine. But when I un-checked it, I got an error from FreeNode and irc.mozilla.org that said: Already marked away: Away Usage: AWAY [<reason>], sets you away I use /back to un-set me as away, but it looks like xchat-gnome is just calling /away again?
Same here.
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
It doesn't work if you want to set you away, xchat-gnome trow some errors in the command line: (xchat-gnome:30463): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid uninstantiatable type `-g-type-private--IFaceHolder' in cast to `GtkToggleButton' (xchat-gnome:30463): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_toggle_button_get_active: assertion `GTK_IS_TOGGLE_BUTTON (toggle_button)' failed
