Description Joe Shaw 2006-10-31 17:57:10 UTC
The attached patch fixes a problem of navigating to the x-nautilus-search:/// URI and not having a search entry to type into. It also contains a hack which ensures that the search bar has the focus after a page load so that you don't have to click back into the entry, as the icon view steals the focus.

Here typing "x-nautilus-search://" into the location bar, always bring a searchbar.
Joe, is the bug this patch is for still reproducible with Nautilus 2.21.x?
If so, could you send your patch to nautilus-list@gnome.org for review? Thanks!
Comment 3 Vincent Untz 2009-01-28 20:24:34 UTC
Can't reproduce either => closing and dropping the patch from openSUSE.
